About Us

Camp Mountain Chai is recognized as a premier nonprofit Jewish overnight camp located near Big Bear, CA. We provide 8 weeks of overnight Jewish summer camp in the beautiful surroundings of the San Bernardino National Forest where children experience the great outdoors. This past summer, over 500 children participated in a community which inspires a love of Jewish living through fun, friendship, discovery, and exploration. They join the 5,000+ campers and counselors who have already attended Camp Mountain Chai.
